Medical Mercy
HAITI RELIEF
We are currenlty evaluating the needs of our projects in Haiti as well as the needs in the surrounding communities. As we move forward we may add a trip to Haiti in March and possibly in July. We are in the process of food distribution in Cap Haitian. If the assembly of a team is needed we will post it on facebook and the webpage. If you have not Joined our Cause on facebook, check us out!

In November 2004, Dr. David H. Beyda M.D. and Kelly Ramsland, R.N., with a team of 15, made their first trip to Cambodia to care for Mission of Mercy sponsored children. It was at that time that it became very clear that “Forgotten Children” were truly forgotten and that there was a emergent need for medical care at a grassroots level in countries that themselves were forgotten.

Medical Mercy is the medical component to Mission of Mercy. Our goal is to offer quality medical care to the sponsored children of Mission of Mercy, their families and communities. We accomplish this by taking medical teams from the United States into the countries of our sponsored children. We also train select groups of adults in the communities in which the children live, to be Healthcare Workers. We accomplish this by following a program put together by Dr. David Beyda, our Medical Director.

We are in need of medical personnel and support staff on these trips. We invite you to join us as we continue with our Ministry of healing and love for the Forgotten Children.  [Read more…]
