Medical Mercy - Rescuing Forgotten Children, with Jesus' Love

In November 2004, Dr. David H. Beyda M.D. and Kelly Ramsland, R.N., with a team of 15, made their first trip to Cambodia to care for Mission of Mercy sponsored children. It was at that time that it became very clear that “Forgotten Children” were truly forgotten and that there was a emergent need for medical care at a grassroots level in countries that themselves were forgotten.

Medical Mercy is the Medical component to Mission of Mercy. Our goal is to offer quality medical care to the sponsored children of Mission of Mercy, their families and communities. We accomplish this by taking medical teams from the United States into the countries of our sponsored children. We also train select groups of adults in the communities in which the children live, to be Healthcare Workers. We accomplish this by following a program put together by Dr. David Beyda, our Medical Director.

We invite you to join us as we continue with our Ministry of healing and love for the Forgotten Children.  [Read more…]
