Medical Mercy

Haiti Update (Monday, January 18, 2010)
Medical Mercy left today to take a team to Port au Prince Haiti to aid in the relief efforts. You can follow us on facebook.

Please visit the Mission of Mercy website at www.missionofmercy.org/haiti for updates and opportunities to partner with us in giving to this cause.

In November 2004, Dr. David H. Beyda M.D. and Kelly Ramsland, R.N., with a team of 15, made their first trip to Cambodia to care for Mission of Mercy sponsored children. It was at that time that it became very clear that “Forgotten Children” were truly forgotten and that there was a emergent need for medical care at a grassroots level in countries that themselves were forgotten.

Please Note: The following video was done in November 2009

Medical Mercy is the medical component to Mission of Mercy. Our goal is to offer quality medical care to the sponsored children of Mission of Mercy, their families and communities. We accomplish this by taking medical teams from the United States into the countries of our sponsored children. We also train select groups of adults in the communities in which the children live, to be Healthcare Workers. We accomplish this by following a program put together by Dr. David Beyda, our Medical Director.

We are in need of medical personnel and support staff on these trips. We invite you to join us as we continue with our Ministry of healing and love for the Forgotten Children.  [Read more…]
