Introduction to Medical Mercy

Since 2004 there have been over 35 medical trips to over 11 different countries with medical teams spending five full days running medical clinics in the bush of Africa, the minefields of Cambodia, the garbage slums of Egypt, and the HIV infested country of Swaziland, and many others. Medical Mercy has seen over 85,000 patients in less than four years. Tons of medicines have been dispensed and three permanent medical clinics have been designed, built and staffed by Medical Mercy. Those clinics in Egypt, Cambodia and Swaziland continue to do the medical ministry when our medical teams leave the country.

Medical Mercy trains local teachers, project leaders and missionaries to be Healthcare Workers, giving them the expertise to continue caring for sick children to whom they minister and ensuring that they have every opportunity to live a full and healthy life.

Medical Mercy is a unique medical ministry. Medical Mercy serves to deliver basic and advanced medical care to those Forgotten Children on an ongoing basis with the goals of continuing medical care indefinitely for all those who are vulnerable and in need. Each country we visit is left with a program for continuing medical care. That country is visited again and again by Medical Mercy teams insuring a continuity of medical care.

We are Christ driven and Christ directed, and simply His servants using our gifts as good stewards to care for those children and their families who have been abandoned and who seek His grace and blessings.

There are four documents that are key to understanding our purpose and our mission. They are:

  1. Introduction to Medical Mercy – The Code of Conduct is a guideline for all team members to abide by while on each medical trip.

  2. A Typical Medical Mercy Team

  3. The Mission Statement is Medical Mercy ’s goals and explanation of purpose.

  4. The Statement of Faith is the foundation of our mission and reason for our existence as an organization.
